Programs
Morningside has classes for children ages two to five and offers many program options to suit your child in a variety of formats:

(a) Two Days (Toddler) programs:
For children ages 2 to 2.7 years. (9:00-12:00) -
(b) Three Days (MWF) programs:
For children ages 2.8 to 3.5 years. (9:00-12:30) -
(c) Five Mornings programs:
For children ages 3 to 5 years. (9:00-12:30) -
(d) Five Afternoons (PM) programs:
For children 3 to 5 years. (1:45-4:45)
We are accepting 3 Day and PM applications.
Children are welcome to stay for lunch (12:30-1:30) if they wish. Spots are limited so please inquire at the Office. Please note, lunch is not offered to the Toddler Class.
As well, if you require it and it suits your child, we have the following Extended Day options:

(a) Earlybird Drop-off Program: This is housed in the South classroom with two teachers. The number of children enrolled varies from year to year but has never exceeded 10 children to date. This classroom is quiet and children do work as in a regular work time or help the morning teachers with small set up chores as they wish.
For children ages 2.8 to 5 years. (8:00-9:00) -
(b) Afterschool Center: This program is based on play activities and includes music, dancing and representational play materials, such as a train set, firehouse and board games.
For children ages 2.8 to 5 years – including nap. (1:30 up to 6:00) -
(c) Explorers’ Class: This enrichment class is strictly for students in the year before s/he attends kindergarten. It is a kindergarten readiness class that helps students practice the expectations of kindergarten.
For children ages 4 to 5 years. (1:30 – 3:30)
Finally, we also have a wonderful summer program, Summer at Morningside, which offers programs for children ages 2.6 through 5 years. This is a 6 week program. You can sign up for the entire program or in two week chunks.
