Summer at Morningside: Urban Exploration
A Six-Week Summer Program for Children Ages 2 - 5

We hope your little explorer is ready to uncover the hidden wonders of the city! This summer, we’re setting out on an urban adventure, where curious minds will investigate the fascinating world right outside our doors. From the wildlife that shares our streets to the journey of water through our neighborhoods and the plants that thrive in unexpected places, Summer at Morningside: Urban Exploration is a gateway to discovery, friendship, and hands-on fun! Join us as we navigate the landscapes of our city, unlocking its secrets and inspiring a passion for exploration. Adventure awaits!
Staffed by marvelous, loving, and experienced teachers, your children will enjoy:
Rooftop sprinklers and water play
Picnic lunches and outdoor play
Weekly swim classes at Imagine Swimming *
Weekly Field Days (at the field on Amsterdam & 101st) *
Session 6: Field trip with the Central Park Rangers
Session TBD: Visit from Mr. Anthony (The Nature Company)
Summer at Morningside runs for a total of six week-long sessions. You may enroll your child for any or all of the weeklong sessions, consecutively or sporadically. Space is limited per session, so we suggest enrolling early.
Our summer program is open to children between 2 years old and 5 years 11 months old on the first day of their session. Please enroll your child in the correct section of our Summer Program based on the ages listed below.
* Children aged 3.5 and younger and children who are not potty-trained will enjoy an adapted program with an extra roof sprinkler day and a rooftop field day. This group is only open to enrolled Morningside students, and tuition is pro-rated to exclude the cost of swim lessons.
Summer at Morningside runs for a total of six week-long sessions. You may enroll your child for any or all of the weeklong sessions, consecutively or sporadically. If this will be your child’s first drop-off program, we encourage you to enroll them in two or more consecutive sessions to support their acclimation.
Space is limited per session, so we suggest enrolling early.

* Session 1’s tuition will be prorated due to our closure on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
** Session 3’s tuition will be prorated due to our closure on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
If your child will attend more than one session, set the Quantity below to the number of sessions your child will attend (e.g. if your child will attend 3 sessions, Quantity = 3).

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. You will be sent an invoice in mid-May for your remaining tuition balance, which will be due on June 1, 2025. Non-Morningside families will be charged a $50 registration fee.
