Young Toddlers Together

Program Overview

Join us for a non-separation class in our Young Toddler classroom, a space prepared thoughtfully to meet the developmental and social needs of our youngest students. Socialize with parents and caregivers, enjoy weekly classes, and watch your little one play and learn.

In this program, we’ll share tips and tricks to promote your child’s independence while preparing your child to begin in a Toddler classroom in the fall and enjoying everything Morningside has to offer.

Our Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 programs are for children born between October 2022 - September 2023.

Maria Gomez (M/W) is Morningside’s Toddler Program Lead Teacher. Her playful, loving, and gentle nature makes her the perfect fit for our youngest students. She earned her AMS Infant-Toddler credential from WSMS-TEP in 2017, and holds her New York State birth-2nd grade teaching certification. Maria obtained her M.S. in Early Childhood Education in 2010, and her daughter is a Morningside alumna! Maria treasures working with young children because of their spirit and enthusiasm. She integrates her interests and passions into the classroom, including her love of the Spanish language and her fascination with natural sciences.

Natalie White (T/Th) is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in early childhood education, tutoring, and counseling. She holds a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from St. John's University. She has a background in Montessori education, previously working as an assistant guide in a Toddler environment at a local school. Natalie has taught S.T.E.M. classes, organized special events, and provided individualized tutoring.
